Some folks seem to just love big crowds while others would prefer solitude. Count me among the latter. - That's why I'd rather visit the beach OFFSEASON, in the fall. The water remains warm as air looses heat faster than water so you can still take your shoes off and play tag with the surf. - Don't get me wrong. I like people but a quite, tranquil beach is just SO WONDERFUL.... Especially at SUNSET.
