In the Shadow of the Rockies

This is another painting in a series I'm doing of the land near where I live in Gunnison Colorado. The high peaks in the background have gotten a dusting of snow from the storm that is moving out. It is early fall in the Rockies and the land is getting ready for the coming winter. The colors of the high country can be breathtaking.
