I photographed this snake as it was slithering its way to the end of the tree that fell into the pond some years ago. There were some insects flying nearby, but I do not think the snake was interested in them. This is one of my favorite photographs that I have created. To me the snake's reflection is perfect, the water surface is wonderful.
