There’s these two concepts of time: One) Chronos time, which refers to seconds and minutes—its what we use when we say the meeting begins at 11:00am or the movie starts at 7:30pm. And the other is kairos time. The definition of kairos is “a time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a crucial action; the opportune and decisive moment.” Kairos time is where all the characters in this series find themselves, a time of shifting into direct awareness of that which is bigger than themselves that produces solemn awe—signaling that the “conditions are right," that this is "the opportune and decisive moment."
