I guess we all need to make a stand occasionally, even old nutty artist-types. But fairness should be met with fairness. And sometimes, when we are lucky, it is. This is an 8 by 5.5 inches gel pen with charcoal drawing on medium bond acid-free paper and another of those 'artsy-fartsy' pieces Original Jones Art has been producing in northwest Austin, Texas.

Chuck I think your friend here needs sum n sun he looks just little piqued,;D

Artist Reply: At this time of year in Texas, Ray, it's better to stay away from direct solar radiation when at all possible. So that might explain his pallor. Hope you are having a good or better than usual day. :)

Hey Charley, This Guy seems to need some Gate Training, Super !

Artist Reply: Well, he'll probably need a wide gate to get through won't he, Denny? Hope all is going great. :)

Strong defiant stance from this character, Charles . Q: How does one promote artwork without the image ? Yes , I wish this problem could be fixed , solved, acknowledged, discussed, something anything . All we're getting are tumble weeds blowin' through. Meantime, cheers to the Chuck ! : )

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! Well, if nothing else I'm tenacious. But the vote is out as to whether it will do much good. It is difficult to battle inertia and apathy on the best of days. :)

I remember finding your name and mine in Top 25 but have never thought much about it. Feels like the guy looks happy with bars in the background. How's the summer going? Hot?

Artist Reply: The old maxim 'Communication Is Key' is just as relevant today as it was when someone coined it. Mankind communicates by actions, words and pictures. I like to think of myself as an open, reachable and communicative individual, Nikolay. He's not wearing his 'happy face' as much as the defiant one he wore when he stood up to his first bully. Anyway, I hope you are doing great---as are all your family and friends. :)
