a piece of scrap pine , 22" tall , 1 1/2" thick, and 5" across will put a finish on it at some point, but right now enjoying as is .

Artist Reply: Thank you John , I will be approaching the finish on this piece cautiously so as not to mess with the aesthetic. Probably use a natural finish, boiled linseed, tung or shellac. Hope all going well : )
