I was rather productive today, all things considered. This one rolled off rather quickly and is, perhaps, a bit different than what I usually do. But then again, it might not be. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium weight acid-free paper. Original Jones Art is doing small things in a big way in northwest Austin, Texas.

You definitely did not waste time, Charles! Fabulously built portrait.

Charles Jones
Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay. I thought it came out rather well also. When I mention color pencils, I mean I used a light and a dark gray Crayola Twistable. they have a finer tip than your average Crayola. Hope you are doing well. :)

Your character actually looks very peaceful, Charles : ) Nice herring bone like background ... you go girl ! Here's to a good week !

Charles Jones
Artist Reply: Peaceful and/or resigned, Dave. I know folks aren't likely to believe it, but I didn't pre-think 'feminine' before I started this piece. It moved in that direction and I followed it. After today, maybe we won't be attacked by political mosquitos as much. :)

SHE'S JUST RIGHT FOR YOUR FELLOW. ;););)

Charles Jones
Artist Reply: Well, they won't exactly be walking 'hand in hand' down the avenue, Joanie. But, yes, she goes with the CJ flow, I think. Hope all is well with you today. :)
