Diana's Daughter

The original is an 8"x10" claybord. This scan was made while she was framed and under glass, so she's not as sharp here as our prints and (certainly) the original is. I had a lot of fun creating her, though, even after hitting a couple moments when I thought I'd have to trash the whole thing! Luckily I worked around those issues and they all helped bring her together! Copyright 9/05 Shannon Reinbold-Gee.

very nice shannon....i really dig the hair and its movement

Artist Reply: Thank you, Ryan! I LOVE getting crazy in the drama hair affords. Even when I have my own hair hacked short, I still appreciate the cool effects long hair creates, it's just a pain to maintain ;-) !

I think it turned out wonderful! I love scratchboard!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Diana. Scratchboard is almost addictive, I think. ;-) That, papercutting and chocolate...Ahhh.... :-)
