This one belongs to a series of watercolour images and is one of my oldest watercolour paintings ( sold ) like " Schneeglöckchen, Wayside , sunflowerfield etc. , I did 15 years ago inspired of the beauty and wildness of my homeland the Tyrol.What better inspiration for the artistic soul than the wonderful , natural world around us ! So,it isn't so surprizing after all that the most of my inspiration comes from my appreciation of being alive and having the opportunity to enjoy this precious planet . Everything I can see, feel, hear and touch crise out to be captured in my mind , to be used as resource with which to create ! Good art is not what it looks like , but what it does to us !!!
