I'm camping out in motels in distant places these days and can't paint so I sketch. I think of things past and remember my tenure in the killing fields....a voice so pure and true as to suspend you from a gentle heavenly wire above the chaos and fiery hell of war....to transport you to places of different dimensions.....this beautiful kindred spirit is - in my humble opinion - one of the best female vocalists this country has ever produced. To hear her sing during that time was to drink of cool water in a blistering desert, and to quench the thirst of the soul. Which Way You Goin Billy? This song rocked the world and my heart.
