Lunch Companions

Whenever we hike to the Carbon Glacier we are always joined for lunch by the larger of the two ravens. I am assuming he is male and only occasionally he brings his girlfriend. I didn't realize how large this bird is until he was a couple of feet from my boots. His beak is 4 inches long and he is very good at busting up peanuts. He fills up his throat, flies across the river and then comes back for more....
