I painted this to remember my Grandmother's home. My entire life she has lived in this wonderful upstairs apartment in Pasadena. She has since had to move out because she could no longer live on her own. I knew when I took the ref photo for this that everything would be changing soon, and I would never get to come back to this place that had become so etched in my memory. This is to pay tribute to all those wonderful visits to Grandma's thru the years...
