765 Alive & Well

This drawing is copyright 2006 to Vincent D. Whitehead.Ball Point Pen drawing showing Lima Built Berkshire Engine 765 heading a passenger train. The engine is owned by the Ft.Wayne,IN. Railroad Historical Society and has just finished a complete restoration at a cost of $750,000.00 and is ready for service. Image 11" x 17" at 61 hours completion time done in Steadtler "Triplus" Ball Point Pen on Acid Free Heavy Cover Stock.

WOW....do you ever get headaches??????? This is so stunning, and flabergasting (if that's even a word) :) Most Excellent!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: Hi Rita. This one has 62 hours work in the drawing and I didn't work more than an hour at a time on it. I try to get up from my drawing table at least on the hour so I don't get eye strain or "set-itus" if that makes sense LOL. Thank you!
