This painting is an experiment using different materials streched on a frame , this one is black velvet that was primed white and painted.

Great strokes of acrylics in the lay of the land. That patch of trees in the background is adds the wonderful perspective of distance. The sky is so soft and a true blue vast of cloudy weather. I dig that cliff.

I love this. The rocks in the foreground look so real.. like you could sit down and watch the horizon. Cool painting pete!
