Washington Warming

It seems fitting that this image is located in the nations capital of Washington DC. Led by Massachusetts and California, a dozen states went before the U.S. Supreme Court this week to argue that they face an imminent environmental threat unless the Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA) regulates tailpipe emissions. Attorney James Milkey likened the harm from such emissions to "lighting a fuse on a bomb." As usual, our politicians are desperately slow to act to a growing serious global problem.

Yes Richard, I agree with your thoughts, but it is the powers that be who will decide our fate. This is quite perhaps what this monument will look like in the not too distant future! Wow!! Happy New Year to you and yours from T&S, and may we see a difference in that year!! ~S

EXCELLENT concern and subject!!! I am on your side Richard!

Artist Reply: Christine.. The auto industry has begun to get involved with solving this problem.. but they need to do a lot more.. and spend the money......
