Building Castles

Creating a work with multiple figures is always challenging as one can imagine. In this painting I wanted to create a basic pyramid or triangular shape without being too obvious. It's a very tried and true method of fine art composing. Placing the girl on the far right in the background along with the surfers and bit of land in the distance all help create an added sense of depth.
