The Bronte Parsonage

Whilst on holiday in Yorkshire last week I took this photograph of the house where Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte lived. Famous figures in English literature and the Victorian novel. Their most famous novels were 'Jane Eyre' and 'Wuthering Heights'. They lived short, intense lives and succumbed to the illnesses of the day, like tuberculosis. The Parsonage is is quite spooky as it fronts onto the graveyard. The Tall trees are full of noisy rook's nests. Big, black carrion birds that give out their croaky calls all day long. Very gloomy in the winter.......

Hello Rusty, the house looks so alive and then the graves in the back, you captured life and death. This is excellent photography.
