These babies couldn't be more than a couple of month's old. They stick very close to their dad :)

Laurie, I feel I know you through your wonderful and courageous friend Meg Murray. This is an extraordinary photograph of innocence and the precious bond between fathers and their offspring. I am always amazed how anyone could hurt, abuse or kill such precious and sentient beings. You have captured with amazing clarity how much our species needs to learn about the wonderful animals that share our planet. It is always wonderful to see the work of Photographers who live in Los Angeles and show the diversity of our city where I have lived all my life. I would love to know where you captured this beautiful and endearing photograph. Knowing about your amazing strength of character and how you have so courageously dealt with pain with grace and triumph in light of adversity is truly amazing. I have the highest respect for you. I share that struggle both professionally and personally working with patients and also dealing with chronic and severe pain. Like you, I believe that in every crisis there are opportunities If I had continued to work full time dealing with chronic intractable migraine headaches I would not have picked up a digital camera to explore other gifts that have opened up a new world of imagery, both intrapsychic and in the beautiful natural landscapes all around us when we have the time to look. Your photography is a testament to your struggle and joy in living. You know like your wonderful friend Meg that when one door closes another opens if we choose to look from a position of strength. As the eminent Psychologist Carl Jung stated, there is no birth of consciousness without pain. You must be very wise!!
