This quilt is as optimistic as the girl in green coat in spite of autumn leaves falling from the chest-nut and mournful storm-cloud hanging on the boughs of the great oak. The relief of the quilt makes it look almost alive . The picture is originally handquilted. Quilt is in private collection, can be made to order.
