Found Eggs, Tomato and Fig

My first attempt at painting with egg tempera. Using oils most of the time, I found it very challenging to paint with, but I didn't really know what to expect. The actual painting looks better to me than this image. I thought it would be fun and appropriate to paint eggs with egg tempera. I'll continue to pursue egg tempera painting, but will use oils for my daily paintings until I'm more proficient. "Found Eggs, Tomato and Fig", 7"x5", egg tempera on gessoboard, framed. SOLD
