This is a substantial painting on a 5 feet x 4 feet box canvas, it is based on a Colleagues work and took some 65 -75 hours to produce. I employed multi-layering and rich, thinned and thick Impasto acrylics..building up a substrate of background until the actual flowers and stems grew out of the canvas. It is a fully tangible and recognisable subject - please note its size, it will command the attention of any viewer. I've enjoyed painting this one and took my time with it...when i really like a piece I put my heart and soul into it - I work hard for my passion but ask just enough to make it hurt your pocket, so that you 'feel' it belongs to you and no one else.
