20 x 16 oil painting on canvas, hand painted by artist Barbara Furlong. This painting is from one of Barb's many Bob Ross oil painting classes she teaches at Michaels Crafts in Kennewick WA.
The painting is heavy on the left. The foreground plants are too neat and too evenly spaced. I love the pines and the middleground mountains! The lake is dull, needs more light and sharper reflections. The sky colors work, but the sky itself is plain. If you cut off the right side down thru the background mountain; and messed up the foreground neatness, this would be a great piece.
Artist Reply: Thanks for your comments...this painting was painted when I first started painting, it is like my 4th painting so at the time, it was a fair painting. In time I will have all my paintings shown here but it does take time. Because it is one of my early paintings, that is why a person can purchase this one for this price. thanks again!
