I think I simply can't paint in subtle tones. For a long time I fought that because I thought my colors were TOO bold, yelling, almost attacking. Finally I gave up - It's useless..:) everything I do is very colorful.

a wonderful painting on it's own w/o the color. Great eyeflow/composition, depth and sky, but the color--the complements, give it it's richness, warmth and life. The brilliant, clean and clear colors say out loud, "come on in and join me on a journey down this road". So I did, and it made me feel alive as well.Ruth Palmer 14 Sep 2007
