Solar Passage

Every civilization has realized or worshiped the power of the Sun. From ancient sundials to modern day solar panels the Sun's many gifts have been generous. Bathing us in it's brilliance and warmth. Giving us it's radiance and light to transport and transform each generation of humankind forward. The daily passage of our revolving Earth has permitted life to be sustained by our magnanimous parent Star. Our solar benefactor has been so reliable and dependable that we set our clocks and our very existence to it's presence. It is the very center of life. Copernicus and Galileo placed it's position directly in the center of our being. Giadarno Bruno died for it's rightful place in the Cosmos. Today our dependence on past, polluting and outmoded forms of energy bring us to the precipice of a dangerous global warming. The frightful ramifications are now just being uncovered and understood. We, as a civilzation, must return to the source of that power that has generously sustained all of life on this planet from the very beginning. It is our Solar passage and we must take it now. visionary imagist "Joey

Joey, without the sun, that ultimate source of energery there would be no life on earth. The god Ra seen from this amazing perspective. Your essay is very interesting and reads as a beautiful poem. My compliments Joey.

Artist Reply: Gabrielle: I am happy that enjoyed my words. The Sun god Ra is happy I hope too. So much can be learned from revisiting our ancient histories. Thanks my friend.

this is a wonderful composition and the colors have a warm glow. It is comfortable and yet foreign. As if the unknown in the universe was also very near and friendly. The immensity of the sun is the same as a cozy fire. Very interesting and thought provoking.

Artist Reply: John: One day at a time we travel throughout our universes. Thanks for traveling with me on this site.
