Atari commissioned five paintings from me back in the day. This is one that had tremendous success for close to a decade. I have always loved the lore of Pirates, so this was more enjoyable than work for me at the time. Unfortunately, my agent did not represent me well and Atari retained the original painting for their private collection. I regret this to this day.
