This is one I did a while back; I've been trying to learn portraiture and it's tough! I'm up to oil sketches, which to me are more akin to drawing than painting. I use the very thinnest of paint layers and a lot of drybrush. Maybe some day I'll be able to use big juicy brushstrokes with my portraits, but until then, these sketches will represent my best.
