This is one which I was working on yesterday; actually you can see some video of my work on it if you look me up on youtube (search for ID "susankennedyart". Also, I'm putting it up for auction on ebay. ("susankennedy"). It's a still life which was delightful to paint...every summer Mom gives me roses to paint, and these are from one of her favorite bushes, I think the name is "Serendipity". I think it's a hybrid tea, but she has to keep cutting back the root stock which tries to get in there among the grafted blooms, too. I didn't want to make this piece too finished, I can get bogged down in the details and when I'm in my right mind I want to avoid that.
