BARBER SHOP SHRIMP  ST VINCENT ISLANDS  CARRIBEAN--------------------------- This little cleaner shrimp is about two inches end to end, never the less they are feisty taking this arm out claws open stance when you approach them. This is to let you know they think they are tough customers and will brook no nonsense. If you gently put out your hand palm up they will often climb right on to your hand. They will groom fish for dead skin and parasites. The fish will sidle up and stop while this shrimp climbs on board and starts his house cleaning duties. Often the fish will open its mouth and allow the shrimp to walk around in its mouth and gills for a good cleaning. When all is tidy the shrimp hops off and waits for the next customer.
