Ik zag hem in Delft op een zaterdag. Het zal me niet verbazen als hij ook elders optreedt. Ik vond het een zeer aandoenlijk tafereel.

I do know much about the story behind this.
I presume it is a man who like to do this after his working years and maybe this is his son who he takes with him. I saw him on the market in Delft in Holland. It was such a sweet sight...
