WELCOME CENTER

On Route 15 just several mile south of the NYS border on the side of a mountain, a new Welcome Center was built a few years ago. the view out back is of 2 lakes joining and miles of mountains, but the view inside is architecturally stunning, named after the late John Heinz. Anyway I was there the other day near sunset and liked the lighting shining in the hallways.

Artist Reply: It is such a pretty place and has an awesome overlook.. Shame it doesnt have a restaurant in it.. then it would be perfect ~!

Artist Reply: Thanks Sharon, Yea it is a very scenic place on the side of a hill with a great view of a dam and two lakes - lots of hills disappearing off the horizon .
