Lake Lure, NC

Plein aire painting of the north end of Lake Lure looking up towards Hickory Nut Gorge. I painted this from a friends boathouse. The red boathouse depicted in the foreground was destroyed shortly afterward by the tree along side of it!

What a scenic place, and as always you did a gret job on the watercolor! I particularly like the wet-on-wet technicque used here and there.
