Station 51

This drawing was inspired by a photograph taken by Gregg Doll photography. It was a donation to the Carrolltown Volunteer Firemen (Station 51) as a token of my gratitude for all they do for my community. The medium used are graphite and colored pencil on bristol paper. The dimensions are 11 x 14 and the work is registered with the Fine Art Registry and has a certificate of authenticity. It is a permanent collection on display in the Carrolltown Fire Club.

WOW - breathtaking work - I love the added red - stands out bold and courageous just as the fireman are out there!

Artist Reply: Thank you M.J. I'm so happy that you understand the orange/red in this! Thanks for your comment! :-)

this is absolutely stunning pencil work Holly - you should be very proud!

Artist Reply: Thanks very much Fiona! I am quite proud of this one. It's a drawing of one of the volunteer Firemen in my hometown in action. And I donated the drawing to the Firemen this year during their annual Jubilee celebration. They loved it so much that they have hung it as a permanent display in their social hall for all to see. It's really quite humbling for me. I appreciate your kind words Fiona!

Great job!

Artist Reply: Thanks very much Terry! The pop of prismacolor was fun and I think it helped bring the drawing to life!
