Original watercolor painted December 2008 on 6" X 9" paper. Based on a photo of an awesome view of the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) somewhere over Fairbanks, Alaska. The northern lights are very tricky to capture via any medium, but I give high kudos to the photographer who was able to snap this shot getting so much light and magnitude!
