Alders in the Snow

In the forests of this area, the underbrush is thick and hard to negotiate until the winter. Many plants die back for the season and what's left is weighted down under the snow. That brings out things that you ordinarily miss, like the beauty of a stand of Alder trees on the side of a road. Thanks for stopping by and letting me share a wonderful day with my daughter a couple of winters ago...... :)
