This painting was part of a series I did based on songs by Bruce Springsteen. The song War ask the question whats war good for? Nothing and brings nothing bet death and distructuon. That was the feeling and emotion I sought to capture in this painting. I didnt wan't to make this an anti war painting, but rather a painting that shows the inocent casualties of war. With this painting I used only 2 colors plus titanium white. I used Prussian blue, and Burnt Sienna.
