You know Elton, besides your wonderful record albums - I am joining the ranks of those who sing praises of these wonderfully communicative abstractions - I find meself carried along on their stories - artists have long been the story-tellers - bewdy ~:0)

Artist Reply: Thanks Charles for the monocle...I was doing that very thing last night, on my "comments/story epilogue" on one of your great art/stories ..and when I got almost through and decided to spell check for once and avoid my normal overabundance of typos and grammar train wrecks,,, it was then that I hit the wrong key and erased the whole think..I was so mad that my face flushed and churned into a spasm of lines and colors that resembled some of my more extreme abstracts...I will rewrite the commentary tonight , save it and then paste it on your site...no I lie, I am too tired after a long day of anticipating this project, that I must take my leave and rest up first. I am in my Pa Kettle mode now...Think I'll mosey on out into the back pasture and light a few sticks of dynamite with my blow torch to harvest the egg plant crop ..saves a lot of picking veggies, using the blow burner...think I should patent this process? I might, if I get my strength back up after a bit and I can find the time to do it...Don't want to interfere with my regiment of 12 naps a day minimum,,, And yes you are absolutely right.. artists are the story tellers..I started out as a poet,,,became a singer/songwriter, (was always an artist ),,,turned to writing novels...got older and older,, and now I am doing my "grave preparation art" all of this by way of saying...all true artists have a story to tell ---or they only end their pilgrimage writing greeting card verse, or only taking photos of their cats and dogs, or restricting their art to painting Little LuLu with rainbows and lollipop waving a "Howdy Yawl!" to all the folks at the home, and the girls at the Garden Club Sing-a-long with Opera Choral Ensemble....
