Wolves of Venice

"Wolves of Venice" is the title - and I am simply in love with it! I spent a great deal of time on the details of this painting and I'm very proud of it. Part of my ever popular "Wolves" series - here we have a gothic maiden (a vampire? a werewolf? just a lady?) and her wolf companions, prowling the streets of Venice, Italy. The other denizens of the night seem masked strangers, strolling the streets. Her red dress, mask & hair accents really stand out against the somber architecture. You can see the famous canals and bridges (even a hint of a gondola) of Venice. My own original acrylic painting. ©Jasmine Becket-Griffith - prints are available at http://www.strangeling.com and http://zazzle.com/strangeling*
