Loup-Garou: La Tristesse

A beautiful installment in my very popular "Loup-Garou" series (French for "werewolf") - all featuring wolves and beautiful girls in French-inspired portrait settings. This one has a very Rococo feel to it - an ornate sofa is out in a mysterious forest - the girl (a vampire? a werewolf? a princess?) looks sadly at her wolf companions. "La Tristresse" means "the sadness" or "the sorrow." I think this is my favourite so far! Made from my own original acrylic painting. ©Jasmine Becket-Griffith - prints are available at http://www.strangeling.com and http://zazzle.com/strangeling*
