Ian D. Marsden's illustration work ranges from realistic photoshop work to humorous and children?s styles. His cartoon work has been sold to The New Yorker, MAD Magazine and many other quality publications and has appeared on many corporate and advertising applications including Coca Cola cans all over Europe.
Ian D. Marsden has created web graphics and flash/shockwave animation for clients such as www.google.com, La Toya Jackson and most notably the current flash centerpiece for Fox Sports - Best Damn Sports Show Period. He was one of the winners of the Klasky-Csupo/Global Tantrum animated flash joke competition and was nominated for a 2003 NCS Reuben Award in the New Media division.
His character designs include the official mascot for the Ski World Championship 2003 in St. Moritz, Switzerland and all characters for the Expo.02 world fair.
Prior to working as a freelance designer, illustrator and animator he worked as an art director on advertising campaigns for BMW Germany, Rado Watches, Wander Sports nutrition and VISA card to name a few and I am very good at creating original material, new concepts or additional ideas for presentations.
