I joined yesterday and am 'feeling' my way around here also. I didn't know there were 'groups' on my initial perusal. I just takes time wandering around at first.
I fell in love with colored pencils when I married my husband and moved to DC for a year while he finished his work there, about 12 years ago. While walking around downtown, I came across a book on colored pencils and immediately started playing with them. I like the fact they can travel with me. I've experimented with all types and colors of paper and must have every Prismacolor made. Some of my works can be found on my web site.
