Updates to Sub-Galleries

We wanted to let everyone know of a few things we added today to the new Premium Account Sub-Gallery function.

1) We added the 'View All' link on all of the pages, so that the user can elect to view all of the images on one page.

2) We also added the 'sub-gallery quick links' to the left column of the portfolio page. This allows the user to quickly jump from one sub-gallery to another without going back to the main menu. In order to place this on the top of the screen, we hid the artist bio and self portrait on sub-pages (which was kind of redundant anyway).

3) We fixed a few bugs that were happening if you clicked on sub-galleries that contained funky characters or that were uncategorized.

Additional updates are coming in the next few weeks to make this new feature even better. Primarily the layout of the 'main menu' page that will allow you to change layouts as well as the images displayed. We will also be adding a quick way for you to categorize your images into sub-galleries and rename existing sub-galleries. Stay tuned and keep the feedback coming...

I thought that all pages with sub-galleries were limited to text only links until I found this thread.

It suggests that members can have pics for sub-galleries.... I don't see that option anywhere in the Members Area. How do I get them added?

It appears that the images are not coming up on your portfolio, because there is a comma in front of the name of the sub-gallery. You can fix this within the EDIT IMAGE page.

FYI - There are new sub-gallery layouts coming soon.

Greetings;

I got them fixed. Just fyi, the commas at the beginning of sub-gallery names was dropped in when I had to recreate sub-galleries after accidentally hitting the 'remove sub-galleries' link.... perhaps the old sub-gallery names were still hidden in your system.

But it looks a million times better... and I look forward to the enhancements.
