Self Portrait

I have always felt a connection to the great outdoor playground, and growing up in the city, would seek out the ravines and open fields for endless exploration. Among the first graduates of the Claude Watson School of the Arts/Earl Haig Campus, I then studied Fine Arts at The Ontario College of Art. In my third year, I was accepted into the Florence Program, and had the brilliant opportunity to study jewellery design in Italy, while living and painting in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Having made the permanent change to small town living near a Unesco Biosphere Reserve, I have lovingly nurtured a deepening relationship to the natural world. With plenty of trails and woodlands to explore and draw inspiration from, it is my hope to share this beauty through my art, especially in these challenging times.
