Title: The Autumn Path Dimensions: 11" x 9" Support: hardboard panel Medium: Acrylic Date: September 2010 About this Painting: Fall is by far my favorite season as it means and end to our harsh Arizona summers and I love to celebrate this time of year in my paintings. This particular work includes a moderate amount of raised texture and features a flat, matte finish. The delicate little trees have had their bright tops painted in autumn shades of red, burgundy, orange and bright lemon yellow. The background has been painted a bright orange-red with light and dark tones throughout.
