...threads of faith

an abstact done with unusual brushes...the lines are done with a long haired squirrel pin striping brush..sponge brushes also used... ...always will i keep believing.... Acrylic on Canvas 20x 24

Lovely painting. It reminds me of a tangled fishermans net, the kind you find on the shore after the storm.

i recall you once did a piece called wind right?my comment was somewhat negative then i tried to do abstract myself and realised how difficult it is and after that i gained a whole new respect for abstract pieces,this one definately gets my respect,wonderful concept and please do more

There is an ancient Book that speaks of the "silver thread" that connects us to the Holy One in the spiritual realm where once we were connected to our mothers.. and if we looked closer we could see that this thread is made up of many intertwined micro threads.. those that keep igniting our intuition of a higher place as if we were still in the womb... that's what this picture speaks to me.. what a warm place.. and safe.. wonderful work Sher!

Through the title the viewer gets the picture, otherwise it doesn't look like much. Excellent job on using all parts of painting to make it come to life: including the title.
