John, you have created a lovely scene that gives the feel of a watercolour painting. A very difficult achievement. I love the way that you've captured our eyes with a number of unexpected strokes of colour, especially around the base of the falls.

There is a small waterfall in France Park near here. I photographed it about fifty years ago in B & W. I should go back and photograph it now for comparison. Your painting reminds me of it.

The splendor of the rocks being washed over by a river, the color of life in it's forms of green, the serenity of the sounds of nature and to behold them all in one spot makes us know that this place we live on has more exchantments and tastes than most will ever realize...A magnificent work John! I want to let you know my friend and fellow artist that I don't know if I will be staying here on this site...I have about two hundred pieces submitted here and even tho I get between 500 and 800 views a month, no one cares enough for my work to barely scribble a chicken scratch to show they like what I do...they view it, but they can't seem to give me an inkling to let me know of their thoughts and feelings on my work...I get plenty on my own newly renamed prescence on my site and at othe community site I belong to...more than plenty to keep me busy...but here at AW, it seems my works are not appreciated enough for how much time I put into them, just to rarely be commented on by people such as yourself and one or two others, but not by near the amount of people who will look at my work and not say a thing...I want to wish you good luck my friend...you seem to have made a nice place and a good following here for yourself and I am proud of you and your gift as you continue to present it to this world here at AW...keep it up my friend! You do good work and don't let anyone tell you different!
