This drum tower is in Xiangjie Temple in Badachu scenic area in Beijing. This painting was made when I was in Water Color Practice of our school. It was raining once in the period of my working, so I adopted wet painting technique which was very favorable in the humid air. The painting was showing moist and dripping water effect, thus fully expressing the hazy, sparse, relaxed, tranquil, clear, deep, and cool mood of a summer resort. The painting won the score of 5 and was archived by our school.
