This is another little piece that is inspired by the fact that I can't really step out. 'Stepping Out' once meant doing the town in your finest duds. See, even that sounds 'of another time.' In this instance it also means stepping out of the shadows, from the legion of the obscure, into the light of recognition. This is a 6 by 4.25 inches gel pen drawing with color gel and color pencil. It's another wishful, even hopeful, example of Original Jones Art as he waits for an email that will calm his anxiety here in the nether region of Austin, Texas, so close to Cedar Park and yet so far away.
