Yes, I know a lot of my pieces contain stripes but I thought it appropriate as a title this go-around. This is another 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond paper. Original Jones Art stays busy and tolerates the heat in northwest Austin, Texas.

You use stripes very effectively Charles . There's visual interest but not overbearing to the eye. Hope the heat shows us a little mercy this weekend : )

Artist Reply: In this case, the deep red is about as vivid a stripe you can have against white. Well, maybe black might be close. And, yes, I'd like a little rain and a drop into the mid-90's for a day or three. Thanks, Dave. :)
