If a person is unaccounted for, it is not known where they are or whether they are still alive. Now this is usually the case after a catastrophic event like an earthquake, flood or other whim of nature. But also man-made events like ferries capsizing, planes crashing, etc., can leave some unaccounted for. But it seems to me that so-called modern life itself is responsible for a segment of the population becoming invisible enough to fall through the cracks of our very thin social umbrella. Many are those who have lost their mobility, the interaction of family and friends. If they are not seen and not thought of then they must be unaccounted for, don't you think? This is a 5 by 3.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art has watched a crack in the corner of the living room enlarging on an almost daily basis. It is a large black void where light dare not shine here in northwest Austin, Texas.
