I think our so-called modern society creates an environment wherein we are so busy trying to maintain a roof over our heads and food on the table that we don't have the time or energy to take a step back and see where this perpetual rat race is leading. Where ARE our lives leading? Are we finding fulfillment? Is sitting down to the mind-numbing 'entertainment box' at end of day really satisfying our inner core? Instead of scanning one of the many drawings already lying about, I dashed this off with the Uni Ball pen instead. It is 6 by 4.5 inches on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art, still wondering what it all means here in northwest Austin, Texas.

So true. Our creativity is one little corner of our world we can truly call our own. Happy creating to you, Charles : )Dave Matke 22 hours ago
Definitely a worried face, Charles . Not having the basics is something to worry about. Though a lot of things, situations in my life , that I worried about, all worked out , so the worry was wasted energy I guess. But try telling myself that when I was worrying about it , ha ! I really like that Uni ball pen effect, goes very well with your work : ) Hope you're getting a break from the heat. Was hearing a lot of rain for you folks in TX this winter because of the El Nino ... Now don't start worrying : )
